About Saurab

Saurab Sharma is the co-founder and original visionary behind Merkle Labs and the CEO at Mandala Tech; partner Company of Merkle Labs.

Deeply intrigued by the philosophical and structural shifts made possible by blockchain technology, he has spent years immersing himself in its global discourse; attending conferences, engaging with developer communities, and learning from the earliest builders in the space.

His conviction was clear early on: while Nepal holds vast potential to contribute meaningfully to frontier technology, regulatory and structural limitations often hold builders back. Rather than accept that limitation, Saurab collaborated with co-founder Pratima Sharma to create Merkle Labs a space to experiment, research, and build freely.

Though he serves as an advisor, Saurab’s ideas shape the company’s direction; from its research priorities to its ethical approach to system design. His belief in foundational problem-solving and long-term thinking remains embedded in Merkle Labs’ DNA.
